Farewell Bernedoodles, Hello Goldendoodles
Over these past couple weeks, we’ve had a change in ranks. Eight weeks goes by faster and faster, and Yose’s Mountain litter of standard Bernedoodles have began to go to their forever homes throughout Oregon and Washington. At the same time, Winnie gave birth to her retirement litter of mini Goldendoodles a couple of weeks ago. In the midst of all this, we confirmed that both Klaire is pregnant with Mini Bernedoodle puppies, and that Belle is pregnant with medium Bernedoodle puppies. This is shaping up to be a busy fall around here, but we are still having a blast sharing this journey with our staff, future puppy families, and anyone who is hoping to experience the puppy joy.

Most of Yose’s mountain litter of standard bernedoodles went home this past weekend. Families from all over the northwest descended on Madras, Oregon in the hopes of meeting their future good boy. You know what; no one was disappointed! Puppy go-home days are quickly becoming one of our favorite times in this wonderful process, where we get to witness these wonderful people’s sacred joy as they welcome their new bernedoodle puppy into their families. This litter of standard bernedoodle puppies was pretty low-key, but also quite gregarious and social. This combination made the first family encounter magical, as puppy after puppy curiously approached their owners in search of friendship, love, and a pet or two. A couple of these puppies have been able to spend a few extra days with us in central Oregon before they go home, and we’re drinking it all in.

Winnie’s mini Goldendoodle puppies are moving around more, and looking beautiful.
As we said goodbye to Yose’s Bernedoodle puppies, Winnie delivered eight beautiful mini goldendoodle puppies. We have three boys and five girls, and all of these goldendoodle puppies are gaining weight and showing signs of health and vitality. Winnie continues to impress us with her maternal instincts, initiative, and appreciation for snuggling. This will be Winnie’s retirement litter, and we’re thankful for her two litters with us here at High Desert Family Doodles, and love seeing her around our neighborhood with her guardian. We’ve seen love change Winnie’s life, and we’re excited for her love to impact families all over the Washington, Oregon, and the Pacific Northwest through her puppies. This litter is currently reserved, and we appreciate sharing this journey with her puppies’ future families.
Our Mini Bernedoodle Klaire is Pregnant!
Here’s one of her previous mini bernedoodle puppies fully committed to her meal! This puppy is now calling Portland, Oregon her home.
As we’re taking care of our beautiful litter of eight mini goldendoodle puppies, we also confirmed that we have two bernedoodle puppies a few weeks away. Over the past couple weeks, we confirmed that both Klaire and Belle are pregnant with litters. Klaire’s litter will be mini Bernedoodle puppies, and Belle’s litter will be medium bernedoodle puppies. Klaire’s last mini bernedoodle litter size is trending to be between 15-25 pounds, and Belle’s is between 40-50 pounds. Both of these litters are sired by Brownie, so they will be abstract phantom, with some potential tri-color coats as well. Klaire is due at the end of the month, while Belle is due in September. We’re getting excited for these litters, and are excited to see what’s ahead. Klaire’s litter is fully reserved right now until after birth, while we still have a couple spots open for Belle’s litter. Stay tuned for updates regarding these two litters here in central Oregon as we get ready to welcome them into the world.
Food or Pets?
One of Rosie’s previous mini Goldendoodle puppies chose pets. Now she’s enjoying Portland, Oregon!
In the meantime, we are also expecting Rosie, Honey, and Luna to go into heat within the month, leading to mini, medium, and standard goldendoodle puppies. Stay tuned for updates for these beautiful developments; we love seeing the people’s joy as they journey along with us.
