GOLDENDOODLE BREEDER — VANCOUVER, WA
Goldendoodle Puppies for Vancouver, Washington
Vancouver sits just across the river from Portland, and we've come to think of Clark County as part of the same community we serve. Whether your family is rooted in Camas, Battle Ground, or right in the heart of Vancouver, we'd love for one of our goldendoodle puppies to find a home with you.
High Desert Family Doodles is based in Madras, Oregon — about two and a half hours from Vancouver via Highway 26. We have deep family roots in the Portland area, and have spent a lot of time across the Columbia River in Vancouver. We are Oregon's only goldendoodle breeder with both a GANA Gold Level and a Good Dog certification, and we raise every puppy in our home on the Puppy Culture and BadAss Breeder curriculum. You can look at our upcoming goldendoodle puppy litters. We think that combination is why so many Pacific Northwest families have chosen to drive — or fly — to get one of our puppies.
What we believe about breeding, Vancouver
We've known the pure joy of a well-bred dog as a member of the family, and we've also seen what happens when breeding standards fall short. The latter is unimaginably beautiful, and the latter is achingly heartbreaking. It's part of why we take our goldendoodle health testing so seriously. All of our goldendoodle parents go through OFA hip, elbow, patella, cardiac, and eye screening, plus genetic panels, before they are ever part of our program. GANA and Good Dog both set passing standards that hold us accountable — and that give you confidence in what you're bringing home.
We offer mini, medium, and standard goldendoodles, all with a two-year written health guarantee.
How we raise our puppies
Our puppies are born and raised not far from Vancouver, inside our home in Madras — not in a kennel or an outbuilding. From their first week of life, we begin Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction, and as they grow we work through the Puppy Culture and BadAss Breeder curriculum. They are handled by a wide variety of people, from seniors to young children. By the time your puppy comes to you in Vancouver, they've been exposed to new sounds, new people, new environments, and the early foundations of crate and potty training. Our heart is that the transition from us to you feels smooth and joyful.
Getting your puppy to Vancouver
Our puppies are just a short trip away from Vancouver, Washington.
We do pickup at our home in Madras, Oregon, and many Vancouver, Washington families enjoy the drive out Highway 26 — it's a chance to meet the parents and see where your puppy spent their first weeks. We can also meet at Roberts Field (Redmond Airport, RDM) for a closer handoff. For families who prefer it, we can arrange flight delivery into Portland International Airport (PDX), which is just minutes from Vancouver.
