High Desert Family Doodles is based in Madras, Oregon — about four and a half hours south of the Eastside. We are Oregon's only goldendoodle breeder with both a GANA Gold Level and a Good Dog certification, and we raise every puppy in our home on the Puppy Culture and BadAss Breeder curriculum. We know that Eastside families want a dog that is genuinely healthy, trainable, and well-socialized — not just marketed that way. That's why all of our goldendoodle parents pass OFA hip, elbow, patella, cardiac, and eye screenings and full genetic panels before they ever enter our program. GANA and Good Dog set clear passing standards, which means the phrase 'health tested' actually means something when it comes from us.

How we raise our puppies
Our puppies are born and raised inside our family home in Madras. We begin Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction in the first week, and follow the Puppy Culture and BadAss Breeder curriculum as they grow. The goal is a puppy who is confident, curious, and emotionally stable — one who is ready for the busy, social environment of an Eastside household. We also begin early crate and potty training before they leave us, to make your first weeks at home as smooth as possible.
Getting your puppy to Bellevue
Pickup happens at our home in Madras, and some Eastside families make the drive — about four and a half hours — and enjoy seeing where their puppy came from. We can also meet at Roberts Field (RDM) in Redmond, Oregon, which significantly shortens the trip. For families who prefer maximum convenience, we can arrange flight delivery directly into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), just a short drive from Bellevue.

A: It depends on your space. Mini goldendoodles (15–35 lbs) are popular for condos and townhomes; medium and standard are a great fit for larger homes with yards. We're happy to talk through what might be the best match for your family. We've also sent bernedoodle puppies home to Seattle.
Q: Can you fly my puppy to Sea-Tac?
A: Yes — we arrange flight delivery into SEA for Eastside families who prefer not to drive. We'll walk you through every step of that process.
