Small Big Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles

We’ve been beavering away here at High Desert Family Doodles this May. We sent one litter home a couple weeks ago and are getting ready to send another home this week. We’re also right in the middle of raising a litter of English cream goldendoodle puppies. To close out the month of May, Yose gave birth to her Bernedoodle litter as we welcomed a beautiful litter of bernedoodle puppies into the world. It’s a beautiful and joyful road!

Rosie’s Flower litter went home a couple weeks ago. These little petite goldendoodle puppies went all over the country too! Most of them stayed on the west coast, and one of these mini Goldendoodle puppies traveled to Austin, Texas. This litter of tender-hearted little cherubs were a tough one to see go. They captured quite a few hearts through their soft cuddles, and attentive playfulness. We kept one of the female puppies from her litter - Tiger Lily, now “Patsy” - and she will be living in a guardian home in Bend, Oregon. She’ll go through her socialization and health testing with her guardian family in order to see if she’ll qualify as a future momma for us!

Bellevue Washington Bend Oregon Goldendoodles Sleep

Honey’s Narnia litter of eleven medium Goldendoodle puppies is now eight weeks old. Trust us on this one, they have all the frivolity and pizazz that you can expect from a large group of puppies. They are enjoying playing with each other, doing a quality job with potty/crate training, and excelling at manding training. It’s really enjoyable to see them play with Honey, along with other adult dogs. These goldendoodle puppies are all pretty confident and comfortable with a wide array of kids and adults. This litter goes home over this weekend; wow, does the time go by fast!. All of them will be going to homes in Washington and Oregon, and it’s fun to see all of these puppies stay fairly local. We are also keeping a girl from this litter - Strawberry, now “Liberty” - as a hopeful future Goldendoodle mom for us. “Libby” will also be in a guardian home in Bend, and it’s fun to see such a beautiful community develop around this pack!

Bellevue Washington and Redmond Oregon Goldendoodle Puppy

Luna’s Moon litter of English Cream F1 Goldendoodle puppies are turning six weeks old, and their personalities are beginning to come out! These beautiful cream puppies enjoy human adoration and attention while lounging in the early summer shade. These goldendoodle puppies are almost completely weaned at this point, and enjoying the finer points of our puppy kibble mix. This litter may be our most socialized to date, as they’ve seen close to forty different people before the age of six weeks. This allows them to get more familiar with a wide variety of people, and begin to see the wide array of people who can be trusted. We will do puppy placement this coming weekend, and these Goldendoodle puppies will go home from central Oregon in the middle of June. We do currently have one opening in this litter, which will most likely be a male. So if you’re interested in a High Desert Goldendoodle, here’s your opportunity!

Bernedoodle with Bend Oregon Family

Last - but certainly not least - Yose delivered a beautiful litter of nine Bernedoodle puppies! We’re continuing the nature theme with Yose’s litters, as these puppies are named after Pacific Northwest mountains! This is a fun to us, because we’ve spent so much time exploring and gazing at these beautiful peaks! We have three merle girls in this litter of F2 bernedoodle puppies, so we naturally named them after the three Sisters! Yose has really leaned into motherhood with this litter, and she’s a pro at it. She’s caring, patient, attentive, and good eater. She’s doing a great job, and it’s fun to see her thrive at doing it.

While we’re caring for these litters, we’re preparing for our upcoming litters. Winnie came into heat a couple weeks ago, and we bred her with both Luca and Rudy because it’s unclear if Rudy is fertile at this point. We are also patiently awaiting Belle and Klaire to come into season, but you can’t rush nature.

All in all, our hearts are full over this past season, and we continually cheering the moms and puppies on. It’s fun to see the mom Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles light up when they see their puppies, and vice-a-versa. Plus, the puppies begin to get excited when they see people, which is a one of our main hopes, since we strive to raise beautiful family Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles.

Now onto the dog days of summer - sorry, I couldn’t resist!

Warmly,

Erin and Jay
