our goal: flourishing mini bernedoodles

Eugene is one of the great dog-friendly cities in Oregon, and our mini Bernedoodles will thrive there. Their early curriculum will help them become confident with other dogs and people. They’ll enjoy the hustle and bustle of Eugene’s Saturday market, while also enjoying a relaxing day at Eugene’s Alton Baker Park. We will also begin with crate training and house training, so that you will have the building blocks of each whenever your mini Bernedoodle joins you in Eugene.

Our current mini Bernedoodle pairing is Brownie and Klaire. Brownie is a male AKC Moyen poodle, who has a phantom abstract coat. Our female Klaire is an F1b mini Bernedoodle, who has a curly tri colored coat. They are both drawn to people, and enjoy time around both adults and kids.

We are expecting our next mini Bernedoodle litter this spring, and look forward to what is ahead.

High Desert Family Doodles just a day trip away, located over the pass from Eugene in Central Oregon. Many of our doodles are located along the I-5 corridor, from San Diego to Seattle. We could meet you for the puppy pickup date when the mini Bernedoodles are 8 weeks old, but can also meet you at the Redmond airport if you chose to fly from Eugene to pick up your puppy.

All of our mini Bernedoodles come with a two-year health guarantee, because we want you to feel assured that your mini bernedoodle puppy is healthy, and ready to jump into life with all four paws.

If you think that a mini Bernedoodle might be too small for you, we will also have medium and standard sized Bernedoodle litters in the coming months. They will range from 35-80 pounds, depending on the pairing. These Bernedoodle litters will also have the same level of enrichment and training that our mini Bernedoodles will have.

We understand the joy of a mini Bernedoodle. While they are both curious and jovial, they are deeply loyal and revel in cuddling. They have many of the same qualities that draw people to a bernedoodle, but they are only a fraction of the size. This means that it can be a lot easier to travel and explore; not only the greater Eugene area, but also the greater Pacific Northwest.

We also know that you want your mini Bernedoodles to be healthy, and not plagued by the same diseases that can linger with Bernese Mountain Dogs, which can quickly shorten their life. You want them to enjoy a long life of exploration, companionship, happiness, satisfaction, and a deep pleasure in the world around them in Eugene and beyond.

As mini Bernedoodle breeders, we play a huge initial role in that development. So we test our mini Bernedoodle parents to make sure they are medically screened in order to breed fit parents who pass on great genetics to their mini bernedoodle puppies. We test their hips, elbows, patellas, and hearts in Central Oregon, and have their eye certification in Eugene, Oregon. We use the standards set for by GANA to determine whether our mini Bernedoodles pass or fail. We also do genetic panels on our mini Bernedoodle parents to further understand the parental genetics, because this also helps us make responsible breeding choices.

When the mini bernedoodle puppies are born, we take great care to track their weight and development. We begin our mini bernedoodle enrichment program on day 2, starting with early neurological stimulation (ENS) and early scent introduction (ESI) which helps jump start and strengthen their early brain development.

Then we integrate BAB and Puppy Culture enrichment programs and protocols to help the mini bernedoodle puppies learn to problem solve, and grown confident in their ability and to trust the world around them. The end goal of all this is to help the mini bernedoodles enjoy Eugene, Oregon and all the adventures that they will be able to enjoy.
